Theresa was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg, and went on to earn her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Winnipeg in 2010. Theresa has extensive clinical training at Klinic, Aurora Family Therapy Centre and New Directions. The education and training provided by the MMFT program enables Theresa to work effectively with a wide variety of issues using various therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused, Narrative, Internal Family Systems and Attachment-Based Therapy. She works collaboratively with clients, helping them to establish and achieve goals for therapy and providing support throughout the therapeutic process. Theresa is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
